What is a primary care physician and why do I need one?

Having one consistent provider means someone who knows your full history and helps you stay healthy over time.

What are your office hours?
Our primary care office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on weekends. Call ahead to schedule the appointment time that works best for you.
What insurance do you accept?
We are in network with Aetna, Medicare, Ambetter, Oscar, Humana Military/Tricare, and the Polk Healthcare Plan, and are currently welcoming new Ambetter and Oscar members. Self-pay options are also available. Contact our office to verify your specific coverage before your visit.
Do you offer lab work and X-rays on site?
Yes. Our Davenport office includes a full-service in-house laboratory and non-invasive X-ray services, so most routine blood work, screenings, and imaging can be completed during your visit without a separate trip.
Can you manage chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure?
Absolutely. Ongoing management of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, and heart-disease risk is a core part of primary care. We monitor your health over time, adjust treatment as needed, and coordinate any specialist care.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications and dosages, and any relevant medical records or history. This helps us build an accurate picture of your health from day one.
